Today marks the first day of week long events for Echo Park Community Art Project. A non-profit organization, EPCAP consists of an exhibit by Echo Park resident artists, workshops and art survival kits - materials to encourage students to get involved in the arts. With federal funding for the arts diminishing, organizations like this are essential.
A $20 donation pays for an art survival kit given to a child who attends a workshop or visits the exhibition. To donate, click here.
Please join for the gala event on Friday, May 13th - all artworks featured in the exhibition will be for sale with proceeds going back to the art survival kits.
