brief hiatus.

I am back from a brief blog hiatus.  Nothing much was going on, just a steady stream of busy stuff!  I should have more to report but I do have a fantastic and (almost) completed patio for summer entertaining (pictures to come) and have even broken it in with a family lunch one balmy Sunday and sunset drinks.  

Maximilian and I have done lots of hikes in the LA area - proving he loves the landscape just as much as me....

A fragrant bedside - tuberose floated in small ramekins....

This week I am diving into a gigantic bag of fava beans a client gave me!  Prepping for roasting....
