Recently, my friend Lisa and I took Maximilian to a nearby Italian restaurant. The food was great, the enclosed patio was cozy and since they were so dog friendly, I think we will be heading back very soon! For a pre-dinner drink, I made an Italian cocktail that used one of my favorite apertifs, Campari, with rosemary and tangerine. Cin cin!
campari tangerine/rosemary cocktail.
*makes 2 tall drinks
4 shots of Campari
juice of 2 tangerines
4 shots of rosemary simple syrup
orange sparkling water
Add first three ingredients to a tall highball filled with ice. Add a slice or two of tangerine to each glass. Add orange sparkling water to the brim.
