Outside the art world (and maybe those who do not pay attention to the flags posted on Wilshire Boulevard), I wonder if many people know about the art tsunami that is hitting Los Angeles this fall: Pacific Standard Time. Celebrating art in Los Angeles 1945-1980, the Getty sponsored project saw gallery openings in September and museum openings and art fairs this first weekend of October.
